Sometimes it can be annoying to set up a Twitter account and find that it’s already broken!
This has generally happened to me whenever I’ve created a new domain and have speedily set up my Google App MX records OR have changed my domain to CloudFlare and the website has been moved awaiting propagation to CloudFlare’s new servers.
So what is the solution to this problem?
Do you resend another Twitter email to yourself, just like the other 100 times?
That will just drive you nuts.
Although you will eventually get the right email.
The best solution is just wait.
I know, Internet and wait shouldn’t belong in the same sentence, but in this case it’s best to go away for a day and then come back tomorrow. Don’t worry your beloved Twitter account with your super awesomeness username will still be there when you get back.
Simply log back into your account the next day, try the resend confirmation link and this time all should be good.
